Faith Odunsi, the rising talent in mathematics earned $1,000 after defeating competitors from all across the world to win the Global Open Mathematics Tournament the previous year.
Faith Adesewa Odunsi, an SS3 student from Ijebu in Ogun State who attended Ambassadors Schools in Ota, was appointed an ambassador when she was 15 years old. Her favorite subjects are mathematics and information and communications technology.
Faith claimed that she got her mathematical skills from her father who is a medical doctor while her mother is a businesswoman. Her parents are supportive during her competitions, offering advice and reading tips and they are very proud of her accomplishments.

In 2021, Odunsi emerged as the winner of the global tourney by 30 clear points ahead of opponents from China, the United States (U.S.), Australia, the United Kingdom (UK), South Africa and Germany, first won the hearts of many in 2018 when she set a record in the Cowbellpedia Mathematics Competition by answering 19 questions in 60 seconds.
After the Global Open Mathematics Tournament, the judges ultimately referred to her as Calculator.
She received praise for her achievement at the Global Open Mathematics Competition, which led Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun to honor her.
Faith was honoured alongside other indigenes of the state; Olasukanmi Opeifa, Oluyemisi Oladejo and Olalekan Adeeko, who have won academic laurels in different fields.
